DOOH campaign adds peak hour traffic to social media reach

Channel Nine’s social media team added Brisbane’s homebound peak hour traffic to their digital reach.

Channel Nine’s social media team kept the Brisbane outdoor audience entertained and up-to-date with the game scores and a running commentary. 13 goa digital billboards throughout Brisbane were updated with live commentary before, during and after the second State of Origin match of 2014.

doohfa and Channel Nine’s marketing team designed a billboard with creative and content to suit the medium. “A large format outdoor headline makes a 140 character tweet look like war and peace. We had to be thoughtful about how the content would be structured to best suit this format,” said Dave Petschack, doohfa’s Managing Director.
